Coulee Floors is a family owned, local business established in La Crosse since 1965.

We are La Crosse’s only premier Abbey Carpet & Floor showroom. We offer a variety of flooring types including carpet, wood, tile, laminate, vinyl, area rugs, as well as window coverings.

Coulee Carpet began in 1965 with a group of four owners, one of which is the uncle of current owner, Jeff Gerdes. Jeff has been the sole owner since 2004 and previously worked as Coulee Carpet’s main installer. Our current installers are also part of the family as Jeff’s cousins, and have a long history with Coulee Carpet. Our experienced installers take great pride in their work and will guarantee a professional installation. Whether you are building a new construction or remodeling your existing home we are happy to help you every step of the way.

At our store you will find a professional staff knowledgeable in design concepts and coordination, with two interior design consultants who are qualified and experienced. Our sales staff comes with over 26 years of combined experience in sales, design and installation of all flooring products, along with degrees in interior design. Both have established great working relationships with many of the area’s general contractors, designers and their clients. We continue with ongoing training to stay current on new products and keep up with the latest design trends.
